j star rockers is a writer and musician whose essays and poetry have appeared in Noö Journal, Feminist Review, Melusine, Thematic, and others. She has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the Inland Northwest Center for Writers and an MDiv from Meadville Lombard Theological School. Formerly she was managing editor for Willow Springs Literary Magazine and nonfiction editor for Crab Creek Review. Her 2006 folk album Beloved On Earth can be found on Apple Music and Spotify. She is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister and lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest with her family & other animals.
